How do you drink your 8 cups of water a day? Do you take your water from the tap? Sparkling? Or how about infused?

Infused water is the trend that keeps on giving. They’re pretty and a delicious way to stay hydrated. Some people even find it easier to stay hydrated this way.
But we won't complain, if that’s the way you’re able to get your recommended daily amount of hydration, then that sounds good to us! We're all about staying hydrated. 

We’ve got a few recipes we think are delicious, and there’s even an infused water recipe in here that’s perfect to drink during a workout!

P.S. squish the fruit a little before you infuse it in the water, so the natural juices seep in, to ensure you’re getting some vitamins.

The morning detox drink | Cucumber & Lemon

Ah yes, the old "lemon water" favourite. Lemons are a great source of Vitamin C and antioxidants which can help boost your metabolism. Perfect for the morning!

The drink:
Lemon - cut up into thin slices (to taste.) 
Cucumber - as many slices as will fit into your jar!
Infuse overnight in the fridge, drink either cold or warm it up for a delicious hot drink on a cold wintery morning.

 

The energy booster drink | Grapefruit & Mint

Grapefruit is probably the most super of the superfoods out there. High in every vitamin ever, fiber and energy, adding grapefruit to your water is an easy way to include it in your diet.
+ Mint = an energy booster.

The drink:
Half a grapefruit - diced or sliced
Mint leaves - to taste.

Infuse overnight, bring it to work with you and notice an improvement in your day!

The sports drink | Strawberry & Kiwi

Okay, so we’re going to cheat a little on this one and give you an infused water recipe that’s WAY more effective than just adding fruit to water…

The drink:
One sliced kiwi fruit
3 sliced strawberries
Mix one scoop of Valkyrie in the water, add the fruit and infuse overnight.

Take this one to the gym and drink it before (or during) your workout to boost your energy and fat burning potential! Plus, it tastes delicious and adds a kick to your infused water!

The post-workout drink | Raspberry & Rosemary

Raspberries contain specific antioxidants that protect cells from damage and help muscle recovery after a workout. Plus, water helps with recovery too. So this one is a great post-workout drink.

The drink:
Raspberries - break a few of them up
Rosemary - take the leaves off.

Infuse overnight in the fridge.

Bring it with you to the gym and re-hydrate on your way home!

The dessert drink | Pineapple & Coconut Water

We could sit here and tell you the benefits of pineapple but let’s be real, it’s just delicious and would make a great drink to have while you’re eating dinner or for dessert. There’s nothing better than that!

The drink:
Pineapple chunks
Coconut water

Infuse in the fridge during the day, ready to drink in the evening.
